Violations
The Board of Elections takes campaign/elections violations seriously. When [potential] candidates break the rules, they break the balance of fairness and potentially skew election results. It is one of the high priority goals of the BOE to create the most equitable elections environment possible.

To that end, BOE asks anyone who believes (s)he has witnessed a campaign violation to report it immediately so that we can investigate it and take appropriate action.

Our policy is to never release the name(s) of anyone not wishing to be identified as reporting a campaign violation. All reports submitted will remain confidential, however, if you are uncomfortable sending this information electronically, feel free to make an appointment with either the Chairman or the Vice-Chairman and convey your concerns verbally.

  • Your name, email address, telephone number.
  • Who witnessed the campaign violation?
  • In as much detail as possible, please describe the campaign violation.
  • Please describe, in as much detail as possible, where the campaign violation took place.
  • When did you witness the campaign violation (i.e. time & day of the week)? Please be as specific as possible and include a time frame if necessary.
  • If you wish to add anything more, please do so.

An e-mail confirmation will be sent within 48 hours and you may be contacted if further information is needed.
