Welcome to the Carolina Language Partnership (CLaP) |

The Carolina Language Partnership is a tutoring organization that offers free one-on-one English lessons to Hispanic and Burmese employees of the Dining Halls, Student Union, and Student Stores at UNC-Chapel Hill. Student tutors are matched with a worker and pairs meet for 1-2 hours a week for tutoring sessions. We currently serve about 30 employees in Lenoir and Ram's Head Dining Halls, Student Stores, and the Student Union. Pictures from the Spring Social have been posted in the Photo Gallery!! |

CLaP is affiliated with SCALE (Student Coalition for Literacy Education) and has a resource-sharing blog on its website: http://www.readwriteact.org. Current tutors should email CLaP leadership for how to set up an account and gain access to tutoring resources. |
