It is through books and other written materials that serious ideas can be developed, debated, and refined. Now more than ever, thoughtful books are needed the nurture and ultimately advance the principles that sustain liberty. As a service to the students at UNC, the College Republicans have created a library containing conservative books, periodicals, audio, and visual. Named after the longtime North Carolina Republican senator, the Jesse A. Helms Memorial Library will provide interested students with relevant conservative materials necessary for school research or self-learning.

The materials in the Jesse A. Helms Memorial Library are obtained through the generious gifts and donations from club members, alumni, and friends. The College Republicans gratefully accept any further additions--used or new--to our conservative library.

A listing of all titles in the library is currently being developed and will appear in this space in the Fall of 2009.
