Masala is UNC's premier multicultural organization, partnering with the many cultural organizations on campus to foster collaboration between the diverse racial, ethnic, and social groups that exist at UNC. The word "masala" itself comes from the Hindi word for a blend of various spices, highlighting the diverse nature of our organization. Our main objective to increase cultural awareness at UNC through various events such as our annual fashion show, multicultural dinners, campus wide discussions, and forums.
