The PRSSA is the world’s largest and most widely known pre-professional public relations organization. Founded in 1968 by its parent society, the Public Relations Society of America, the organization has more than 8,000 members and 250 chapters across the country. The UNC-CH chapter currently boasts more than 80 members.
The goal of the PRSSA is to prepare undergraduate and graduate students for a career in public relations and communications careers after graduation.
The PRSSA intends to accomplish this goal by hosting speakers from a diverse array of public relations careers, facilitating networking and resume building nights and providing its members with access to the PRSSA contact lists and job postings. |
