Community Building Committee Segment

Jesalyn Keziah and Josephine Wong talk about what the Community Building Committee does as well as their expectations and hopes for the year. They discuss the different events they hope to organize on campus in addition to their current projects. They are working with the LGBTIQ and Graduate Student communities, and in the show they talk about why they see the need to work with these communities and the steps they are taking to help these students.

They highlight some of this year's goals and their excitement to work with their enthusiastic committee members. Also, Holly Boardman and Chris Carter, co-chairs of the Academic Affairs Committee, talk about the new peer advising program, graduate school advising, undergraduate research, the Honors program and study abroad. The committee's main goal is to work with UNC faculty, administrators and students to improve the academic environment of the University.
