Any interested undergraduate student at UNC-CH can become a staff writer, regardless of major.

Interested students must attend a mandatory committee meeting which usually occurs within the first two weeks of the first day of school. At this meeting, a handout of the semester's deadlines will be distributed and students can ask questions about the writing process.

Mid-late August: Mandatory committee meeting

Mid-September: FIRST DRAFT DEADLINE

Late September-Early October: Peer-editing sessions (time/format determined by editor)

Mid-October: FINAL DRAFT DEADLINE

Late-October: Production staff works on layout of articles

Beginning of November: Send to printers to print

End of November: Distribute!
